Roxanne St. Claire has been one of my it authors for as long
as I can remember. Barefoot by the Sea the fourth book in her fantastic
Barefoot Bay series is no exception. St. Claire once more proves that she can
pen a vibrant and heart touching romance. Tessa and Ian (John) complement each
other well, and the supporting cast of characters is no different. Barefoot by the Sea proves that Roxanne
St.Claire is a player in the contemporary romance world. She has a knack of
putting her own unique spin on tender yet suspenseful small town romance.
Barefoot by the Sea drew me in and kept me flipping pages until the very end.
I easily felt that I knew Tessa from the previous books and
this book only made me appreciate her that much more. To follow on her
emotional journey towards love was simply beautiful. If you haven’t as yet read
the Barefoot books, you might want to get your hands on them because each are
fantastic on their own, but together they tell a wonderful tale of love and
friendship.
I was given an ARC of this book at RWA conference, and I was thrilled to get it into my hands. I love the Barefoot Bay Series and this novel does not disappoint and was well worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteRoxanne St. Claire has been one of my all time favorite authors for years. So when I learned about the Barefoot Bay Series I couldn't wait to read them and now book four is out. Tessa and Ian (John Brown) have such a chemistry I found myself unable to put the book down. I love when i can throw myself into a book and get lost in the story for a few hours.
What I love most is the diversity of each of the books in the series. How each woman faces a different challenge in their life and how they overcome their struggles.
Tessa longs to have a child and longs for the happiness her friends have found. Ian is a wounded man longing for the things he's lost and finds comfort in the gentle loving arms of Tessa.
A must read with a box ok Kleenex near by!
